abstract = "This work looked for starting from the systematic analysis of
fraturaments (lineaments and joints), to determine the most
favorable areas to processes of instability in the strip of
intervention of the pipeline Osvat/Osplan in S{\~a}o
Sebasti{\~a}o in the state of S{\~a}o Paulo - Brazil. The
structural analysis was based on remote sensing images and on the
drainage network map. This analysis allows to infer about factors
as infiltration and degree of stress of the area, factors those
that condition the erosive processes and landslide of the area.
The elaborated maps analyzed the points of crossing of the
lineaments, the frequency of those points for unit of area,
generating the map of density of crossings of structural
lineaments as well as of joints, that allow to determine the areas
with larger infiltration fluids. The orientation of the relief
lineaments preferably NW happens in the study area due to the
orientation NE-SW of the zone of stress Para{\'{\i}}ba do Sul.
The lineal engineering works reach great areas - a lot of times
continental - therefore they need strategies that make possible
technically and financially the execution of maps in this scale.
The use of technologies of remote sensing in the fraturaments
analysis holds those two objectives, because it allows the
development of this work at low costs and with technical
efficiency.",
