                         Detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o e Identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de Falhas. Esta 
                         nova vers{\~a}o possibilita a identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o mais 
                         f{\'a}cil e segura de falhas em sensores podendo mesmo com um 
                         filtro, identificar falhas em qualquer um dos sensores. Testes 
                         foram realizados ilustrando o desempenho do filtro e a maneira de 
                         ajustar seus par{\^a}metros. Os resultados dos testes 
                         demonstraram a potencialidade deste procedimento que pode ser 
                         {\'u}til para se fazer a identifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o de falhas em 
                         sistemas din{\^a}micos lineares invariantes no tempo. ABSTRACT: 
                         This paper presents a new approach in detecting and identifying 
                         faults in Time-Invariant Linear Control Systems. This new approach 
                         permits an easier and more reliable identification of sensor 
                         faults. Even a single filter can identify faults in any 
                         independent sensor. Tests have been carried out to illustrate the 
                         filter performance and the way to adjust the filter parameters. 
                         The test results demonstrate the validity of this procedure in 
                         detecting and identifying faults.",
