             abstract = "Surface deformation and slope stability are important issues in 
                         mining, for legal obligations, security, production planning, etc. 
                         A recent survey of the main active mines in the country point out 
                         a great number of open pit mines. Currently monitoring 
                         deformations of this type of enterprise has been carried out by 
                         classical surveying methods and geotechnical monitoring, which 
                         provide highly accurate information, but have disadvantages 
                         regarding the restricted area coverage, high cost of 
                         instrumentation and operation, etc. In this sense, the increasing 
                         use of orbitals SAR sensors (Synthetic Aperture Radar) provided a 
                         big boost in the detection and monitoring of surface deformation 
                         using the technique of advanced differential SAR interferometry 
                         (A-DInSAR ). This technique is based on phase information of 
                         specific targets present in radar images, called persistent 
                         scatterers (PS - Persistent scatterers), obtained during the time 
                         series of systematic SAR imaging surveys in a given period of time 
                         (at least 15 scenes). The phase variation of these point targets 
                         is related to the shifts in line of sight (LOS) direction during 
                         the period of acquisitions, which may be of millimeter order. This 
                         technique was applied to the monitoring of surface deformation of 
                         the iron mines N4E, N4W, N5E, N5N and N5W located in Caraj{\'a}s 
                         (Par{\'a}), and from the results obtained, a new application 
                         research using more advanced techniques A-DinSAR will be held in 
                         two iron ore mines in the Quadril{\'a}tero Ferr{\'{\i}}fero 
                         region(Serra Curral / Serra da Moeda, MG). In this new research, 
                         two orbital radars will be used (TerraSAR-X and COSMO-SkyMed) in 
                         ascending and descending orbits, respectively, in order to obtain 
                         information deformations in the line of satellite sight, as well 
                         as in vertical and horizontal components of the surface 
                         deformations, by untested approach in the country yet. The 
                         A-DInSAR techniques to be used in this project will be the 
                         SqueeSAR, from TRE company (Italy), the pioneer in this area of 
                         knowledge, the IPTA (Interferometric Point Target Analysis) using 
                         the Gamma software and SBAS (Small Baseline Subset) using the 
                         software SARscape. The traditional DInSAR technique (differential 
                         Interferometry SAR) will also be explored to complement the 
                         extraction of information with orbital SAR data.",
