                         trocas de mat{\'e}ria e energia entre a superf{\'{\i}}cie e a 
                         atmosfera, varia{\c{c}}{\~o}es de armazenamento no meio saturado 
                         e n{\~a}o saturado e escoamentos horizontais. O escoamento {\'e} 
                         propagado baseado na conectividade entre as c{\'e}lulas, cuja 
                         dire{\c{c}}{\~a}o e sentido {\'e} definida pela rede de 
                         drenagem da bacia. Este manual descreve as diferentes etapas para 
                         a aplica{\c{c}}{\~a}o do modelo hidrol{\'o}gico MHD-INPE, desde 
                         a prepara{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos dados de entrada at{\'e} a 
                         interpreta{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos dados de sa{\'{\i}}das. Detalha os 
                         procedimentos de Calibra{\c{c}}{\~a}o, Simula{\c{c}}{\~a}o e 
                         Previs{\~a}o atrav{\'e}s de exemplos de aplica{\c{c}}{\~a}o do 
                         modelo. ABSTRACT: The Distributed Hydrological Model MHD-INPE 
                         represents the process of rainfallrunoff using a conceptual 
                         approach of the water balance components and flow spread in the 
                         basin, which is discretized on regular grids. In each grid unit 
                         (called cell) are simulated the exchanges of matter and energy 
                         between the surface and the atmosphere, the storage variations in 
                         saturated and unsaturated conditions and the horizontal flows. The 
                         flow is propagated based on the connectivity between cells, whose 
                         direction and meaning is defined by the network of drainage basin. 
                         This manual describes the steps for implementation of the 
                         Hydrological Model MHD-INPE, from the preparation of input data to 
                         the interpretation of the output data. The calibration, simulation 
                         and forecast procedures are detailed through model application 
                         examples.",
