                         conjunto de parcelas experimentais de campo nativo submetido a 
                         diferentes tipos de manejo pastoril, do Laborat{\'o}rio de 
                         Ecologia de Pastagens Naturais (LEPAN) da Universidade Federal de 
                         Santa Maria (UFSM). O contexto das pesquisas {\'e} o PELD 
                         (Projeto Ecol{\'o}gico de Longa Dura{\c{c}}{\~a}o) Campos 
                         Sulinos (Chamada MCTI/CNPq/FAPs 34/2012) e o conv{\^e}nio entre o 
                         INPE (CRS) e a UFSM, que gerou resultados, alguns dos quais 
                         apresentados aqui. Busca-se avaliar t{\'e}cnicas capazes de 
                         responder sobre o comportamento espectral de campos nativos em 
                         produtos de sensoriamento remoto com diferentes 
                         caracter{\'{\i}}sticas. Os experimentos de espectrorradiometria 
                         foram relatados em artigos para simp{\'o}sios, mas foram 
                         revisados aqui, juntamente com an{\'a}lises sobre outros produtos 
                         e t{\'e}cnicas. Este relat{\'o}rio tamb{\'e}m se destina a 
                         leitores n{\~a}o familiarizados com a terminologia e objetos do 
                         sensoriamento remoto, por isso alguns conceitos b{\'a}sicos 
                         s{\~a}o introduzidos. ABSTRACT: This report presents some results 
                         of the research with grassland vegetation of the the Remote 
                         Sensing of Vegetation group of INPE´s Southern Regional Centre for 
                         Space Research (CRS). The study area is a set of experimental 
                         plots of natural grasslands under different types of pastoral 
                         management, owned by the rangeland ecology Lab (LEPAN) at the 
                         Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM). The context of the 
                         research is the PELD (long duration ecological project) Campos 
                         Sulinos (MCTI/CNPq/FAPs 34/2012) and the agreement between INPE 
                         and UFSM, which some of the results are presented here. There is a 
                         quest for techniques to assist in unveiling the spectral behavior 
                         of natural grasslands using remote sensing products with different 
                         characteristics. The experiments with radiometry were reported in 
                         articles for symposia, but were reviewed here, along with analysis 
                         of other products and techniques. This report is also intended for 
                         readers not familiar with the terminology and objects of remote 
                         sensing, so some basic concepts are introduced.",
