| Abstract | Neste trabalho é apresentada a etapa inicial da caracterização oceânica e atmosférica do Atlântico Sudoeste com base em conjuntos de dados mais recentes. O conhecimento adquirido através dessa análise inicial será utilizado para encontrar explicações físicas para as oscilações apresentadas na captura da sardinha-verdadeira, espécie que habita a região da Plataforma Continental Sudeste Brasileira. A base de dados oceânica empregada neste trabalho é o SODA (Simple Ocean Data Assimilation), que é uma reanálise oceânica obtida por meio de técnicas de assimilação de dados observados e modelagem numérica oceânica. A caracterização atmosférica será realizada com a base de dados derivada do COADS (Comprehensive Ocean - Atmosphere Data Set). ABSTRACT: In this work is presented the first stage of characterizations of Southwest Atlantic with recent data sets. The knowledge acquired through this initial analysis will be used for find physics explanations for the oscillations in the sardine capture, species that lived in the Southeast Brazilian Bight. The set of ocean data used in this work is SODA (Simple Ocean Data Assimilation), this is an ocean reanalysis constructed with techniques like data observations assimilation and ocean numerical modeling. The atmospheric characterization will be based on a data set originate from COADS (Comprehensive Ocean - Atmosphere Data Set). |
