             abstract = "This paper is a short review of SAR concepts and addresses the 
                         recent trend of orbital SAR systems, the current and planned 
                         availability of data, and the main related application techniques. 
                         Emphasis is put on the extraction of information using satellite 
                         SAR based on amplitude, and also on amplitude plus phase and 
                         polarization through Radargrammetry, Interferometry and
