Atrav{\'e}s
da medida da dire{\c{c}}{\~a}o e a dispers{\~a}o da
cujos par{\^a}metros localiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o e dispers{\~a}o
s{\~a}o bastante convenientes para a compara{\c{c}}{\~a}o
quantitativa entre sub-regi{\~o}es. Em certos casos, {\'e}
quantifica de maneira n{\~a}o param{\'e}trica o ordenamento do
campo magn{\'e}tico.
O jato associado a
polariza{\c{c}}{\~a}o com rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a}s
sub-regi{\~o}es mais internas. No caso de HH 114, a
mudan{\c{c}}a na dire{\c{c}}{\~a}o do campo magn{\'e}tico
proximidades do jato.
maior desorganiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o. ABSTRACT: We present a study of
the properties of the interstellar magnetic field (B\$_{MI}\$)
surrounding giant protostellar jets associated to pre-main
sequence stars. This was done using the technique of optical
imaging polarimetry using CCD detector. The observational products
(polarization fraction, polarization angle, coordinates of the
targets) are compiled into catalogs for the regions associated the
the Herbig-Haro objects HH 46/47, HH 90/91, HH 160, HH 114 and HH
355. To produce the catalogs the overall region surrounding the
jet was divided in subregions 13.5 x 13.5 arcmin in size. Whenever
possible, we added the rneasurements from Targon et ai. (2011) to
the catalogs. By measuring the dispersion of the polarization
angle in the sub-regions we are able to distinguish changes in the
properties of the magnetic field in the vicinity where the jet
originates as well in its neighborhood, including those where
strong interaction with the interstellar medium is expected. The
histograms of polarization angle are quite useful for diagnostics
and can be summarized by Gaussian fits from which the localization
and dispersion are very convenient for a quantitative comparison
between subregions. In some cases, e.g., when the number of
measurements is small in a subregion, or when the distribution
differs from a Gaussian, it is useful to use an adimensional
parameter, \$eta\$, which measures in a non-parametric way how
well the magnetic field is organized. For the jet associated to HH
46/ 47, the organization is such that one preferential direction
is seen. The largest values for the dispersion of the polarization
angle occur in the region presenting shock ares, usual in the kind
of jets. The jet associated to HH 90/91 presents variations of
polarization angle such that the ordering differs in the outer
subregions with respect to the inner ones. In the case of HH 114,
a change in polarization direction is easily seen directly in the
polarization maps, with the dispersion increasing closer to the
jet. For HH 160, besides a olear differentiation of both
polarization angle and modulus of the polarization between the
East a,nd West sides of the field, the map shows a curved
structure for the polarization angles in the southwest extremity
of the jet. This is also seen in the quantitativo diagnostic
tools. The field of HH 355 does not have a very good observational
coverage, even though, the polarization angle clearly shows a
preferential direction, with the \$eta\$ parameter indicating
that the region where the are shock in located presents larger
disorganization.",
