abstract = "In this work was calculated the precipitation percentage of the
Northestern Semi-Arid rainy season (February to May) associated
with El Niņo and La Niņa episodes observed over Pacific Ocean and
positive and negative phasis of Dipole Pattern observed over
Tropical Atlantic. The observational analysis indicate that
Northeastern Semi-Arid rainy season, in the posterior years to El
Niņo onset, are associated with negative precipitation up to 25%,
i.e. rainy season below of normal. In contrast, La Niņa episodes
are associated with positive precipitation up to 15%, i.e. rainy
season slightly above of normal. On the other hand, positive
Dipole years are associated with negative precipitation between
10% to 40% (i.e. very deficient rainy season). Inversely, negative
Dipole years are associated with positive precipitation between
10% to 50% (i.e. very abundant rainy season). Hence, take account
the magnitude of the precipitation percentage found, suggest that
influences of the Tropical Atlantic (Dipole Pattern phasis) over
Northeastern Semi-Arid rainy season are relatively higher in
comparison with Tropical Pacific influences (El Niņo and La Niņa
episodes).",
