                         to evaluate the automatic classification of areas of banana 
                         cultivations in Landsat satellite image, from the visual 
                         interpretation in IKONOS satellite image. The methodology was the 
                         crossing analysis of the areas of banana cultivations in both 
                         images, realized with ArcGIS 9.3 software. The result of automatic 
                         classification was analyzed.",
