             abstract = "The use of orbital images of sensor MODIS with the purpose to 
                         estimate agricultural areas, as of soy, it tends to be limited 
                         because of the low space resolution. These images, therefore, do 
                         not allow to the identification and the mapping of small 
                         agricultural areas. The present article uses transformation IHS 
                         with the objective of resample the images of sensor MODIS, with 
                         space resolution of 250 meters to 30 meters. This resample will be 
                         made through using an image of NDVI, gotten of the images of the 
                         satellite Landsat 5. The resample of images MODIS, through 
                         transformation IHS compensated the limitation related with the 
                         space resolution and provided an improvement in the identification 
                         of features of the landscape in images MODIS and allowed the 
                         classification of small agricultural areas.",
