abstract = "This work describes the solar cell experiment and the method used
to obtain planetary albedo. The data are obtained in real time by
telemetry satellite and after processing they permit to calculate
the Earth reflectivity (planetary albedo) on the South America.
The SCD2/INPE satellite was launched on October 23, 1998 and it is
generating new data at the moment. The analyze of these data is
done using two different algorithm. First, is on a geographic
point (latitude and longitude constant) where curves of albedo, as
a function of the day of the year, permits determine the average,
maximum, minimum and standard deviation values. This method
indicates when exist an albedo value anomalous like high
nebulosity or low reflectivity. The second algorithm is a study by
scanning of the albedo values on the South American. This method
permits obtain images of the minimum albedo which correspond that
data where no clouds are interfering. This kind of image is
important for remote sensing and global changing area. Results to
the years 1999-2004 will be showed in this work.",
