             abstract = "The objective of this paper is to identify environmental impacts 
                         in the physical environment using information of a georreferenced 
                         database and field works. The study area is the basin of Taquari 
                         river, in Brazilian Pantanal Wetland. The database was structured 
                         in the System of Processing of Information Georreferenced (SPRING) 
                         with the following themes: cartographic base, geology, 
                         geomorphology, soils, vegetation, land use and resources 
                         h{\'{\i}}dricos. The method of map overlap was used to identify 
                         the favorable areas the environmental degradation for erosion. The 
                         main observed environmental impacts are decurrent of the cattle 
                         activity, standing out: erosion, assoreamento and flood.",
