             abstract = "The objective of this study was to evaluate different sizes of 
                         sampling grid in the spatial distribution of soil properties in a 
                         area of production of sugarcane located into a municipal district 
                         of Bom Sucesso, Paran{\'a} State. For this, three sampling grids 
                         with dimensions of 100, 250 and 500 meters were established 
                         between the sampled points. Using the GPS system, each sampling 
                         point of was localized in the study area and subsequently was 
                         collected soil samples from surface horizons for physical and 
                         chemical analysis in order to model the spatial distribution of 
                         these attributes. The samples were collected at 0-20 cm surface 
                         horizon representative for all grids. For statistical data 
                         analysis and production of cartographic maps we used the 
                         semivariogram models generated by geostatistical tool to evaluate 
                         the three proposals grids and later used the kriging method to 
                         elaboration maps by spatial distribution for this attributes. 
                         Spatial analysis demonstrated the presence of spatial dependence 
                         only for the base saturation, aluminum saturation, cation exchange 
                         capacity and the sum of bases in grid of 250 meters and base 
                         saturation for grid of 100 meters. For grid of 500 meters none 
                         attributes showed spatial dependence, demonstrating pure nugget 
                         effect the formation of denser sampling grid is therefore 
                         required.",
