abstract = "Given the complexity of interactions between factors which affect
the crop of sugarcane, it becomes essential to determine the
quantity and quality of yield then justifies the approach
geostatistics multivariate for delineation of site-specific
management units. The aim of this study was to delineate
homogeneous management zones in sugarcane field. Geostatistical
multivariate analysis was used for delineation of management zones
by of spectral bands of Landsat-8. Multivariate analysis was
performed with the package software ISATIS with the following
steps: Gaussian Anamorphosis Modelling; Linear Model of
Coregionalization (LMC) and Factorial Cokriging (FCK). For all
spectral bands was assumed intrinsic stationary. The spectral
bands used in the study were: band 1 - aerosol coast, band 2 blue,
band 3 green, band 4 red, band 5 - near infrared (NIR), band 6 -
SWIR 1, band 7 - SWIR 2, band 10 and band 11 - thermal infrared.
The results were: Management Zones (MZs) at short range for the
first factor which is directly related to the surface temperature;
(MZs) at long range for first and second factor which is directly
and indirectly related to the water content in the crop and
surface temperature, respectively. It was concluded that approach
geostatistical multivariate allowed us to separate the different
sources of spatial variation at different scales.",
