                         el{\'e}trico de convec{\c{c}}{\~a}o se reduz ao par{\^a}metro 
                         de subtempestade E amplamente discutido na literatura atual. Este 
                         resultado sugere que a reconex{\~a}o na magnetopausa {\'e} 
                         definida no {"}nariz{"} com urna linha de reconet{\~a}o 
                         inclinada, mas que o campo el{\'e}trico de convec{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         est{\'a} relacionado somente com a componente {"}dawn-dusk{"} do 
                         campo el{\'e}trico de reconex{\~a}o, como definido em altas 
                         latitudes ({"}clefts{"}). ABSTRACT: An expression for the energy 
                         transfer due to magnetopause reconnection, as well as related 
                         expressions for the convection and parallel electric fields, are 
                         presented. These expression are derived from a reconnection model 
                         centered at the magnetopause nose, and that considers the presence 
                         of the clefts. The expression for the convection-electric 
                         field-related energy transfer reduces to the substorm parameter E 
                         for the special case of equal magnetosheath and geomagnetic field 
                         amplitudes. This result suggests that the reconnection electric 
                         field is transmitted along a tilted reconnection line, but that 
                         the convection field is only related to the {"}dawn to dusk{"} 
                         component of the reconnection-electric field.",
