                         uso e cobertura do solo. A {\'a}rea de estudos s{\~a}o tr{\^e}s 
                         sub-bacias das Bacias Hidrogr{\'a}ficas Independentes da Vertente 
                         Leste, localizadas no munic{\'{\i}}pio de Joinville/SC (26º04S e 
                         26º26S 48º44O e 49º11O): Rio Comprido, Rio Fortuna/Guaxanduva, Rio 
                         Iriri{\'u}-Mirim, em que se localizam os bairros Jardim 
                         Iriri{\'u} e Comasa. Os resultados caracterizaram adequadamente a 
                         din{\^a}mica de ocupa{\c{c}}{\~a}o territorial e uma 
                         antropiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o predominantemente urbana que 
                         avan{\c{c}}ou e se consolidou sobre {\'a}reas de manguezais. 
                         Conclui-se que ambos m{\'e}todos combinados, permitem uma 
                         adequada classifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o do uso e cobertura do solo - 
                         camadas de informa{\c{c}}{\~a}o que auxilia na tomada de 
                         decis{\~a}o das parcelas a serem regularizadas. ABSTRACT: Land 
                         management systems have been driven by technological development 
                         and the need for efficient territorial management. Methods based 
                         on object-oriented visual photointerpretation and supervised 
                         classification of digital images provide data with geometric and 
                         thematic quality, responding satisfactorily to the classification 
                         of use and soil cover. The study area consists of three sub-basins 
                         of the Eastern Slope Independent Hydrographic Basins located in 
                         the municipality of Joinville / SC (26º04'S and 26º26'S 48º44'O 
                         and 49º11'O): Rio Comprido, Rio Fortuna / Guaxanduva, 
                         Iriri{\'u}-Mirim River, in which are located the neighborhoods 
                         Iriri{\'u} Garden and Comasa. The results adequately 
                         characterized the dynamics of territorial occupation and a 
                         predominantly urban anthropization that advanced and consolidated 
                         over mangrove areas. It is concluded that both combined methods 
                         allow an adequate classification of the land use and cover - 
                         layers of information that assists in the decision making of the 
                         parcels to be regularized.",
