                         esse problema, o trabalho apresenta um m{\'e}todo autom{\'a}tico 
                         baseado no filtro adaptativo que analisar uma grande quantia em 
                         pouco tempo comparando com a an{\'a}lise feita por um 
                         especialista. A an{\'a}lise usou um banco de dados com 127 
                         s{\'e}ries temporais de pacientes. Para comparar os resultados 
                         obtidos com o m{\'e}todo convencional (especialista) e o 
                         m{\'e}todo proposto pelo trabalho s{\~a}o usados os coeficientes 
                         de correla{\c{c}}{\~a}o (Pearson ou Spearman) e teste t Student 
                         n{\~a}o pareado ou teste de Mann-Whitney. ABSTRACT: To time 
                         series analysis (this case Heart Rate Variability (HRV) - which is 
                         quantified by the variation between RR intervals) is necessary to 
                         remove artifacts. To handle this problem, the present study 
                         proposes an automatic method of data filtering based on an 
                         adaptive filter that is able to quickly analyze a large number of 
                         time series. The method was applied to time series from patients 
                         database. Compared to the costly and time consuming conventional 
                         method, wherein the correction of an occasional ectopic beat and 
                         removal of aberrant RR intervals are executed by an expert, the 
                         proposed method makes use of correlation coefficients. It was 
                         found a high correlation between the results, thus ensuring the 
                         applicability of the proposed method.",
