             abstract = "The applications of remote sensing orbital come to provide various 
                         information about the vegetation indices through the NDVI, IAF and 
                         SAVI. The purpose of this study is to observe the evolution of 
                         space-time through the two satellite images from Landsat 5 and 
                         estimate the presence of vegetation and soil exposed from the 
                         indices of vegetation. The study area is the microregion of the 
                         Itamarac{\'a} located on the northern coast of the state of 
                         Pernambuco which covers the municipalities Igarassu, 
                         Itamarac{\'a}, Itapissuma and Ara{\c{c}}oiaba, as the focus of 
                         this work is higher, especially the coast, the municipality will 
                         not be addressed although Ara{\c{c}}oiaba part of Microregion 
                         concerned. We used two images from the satellite Landsat 5 TM 
                         (Thematic Mapper) from 05/06/1988 and 26/08/2006, both of Point 
                         214 and orbit 65. The processing of the images was done through 
                         the ERDAS 9.1 and 9.1 layouts with ArcGIS. To identify the main 
                         features found in the study area was used as a composition with 
                         the RGB bands 5,4 and 3 and provided the space-time view of 
                         developments in the area. In all indices were determined five 
                         classes. The results are maps for viewing objects in the scene.",
