             abstract = "presentamos neste artigo um breve panorama da cosmologia de 21 cm, 
                         baseada no estudo da transi{\c{c}}{\~a}o hiperfinado spin do 
                         el{\'e}tron no {\'a}tomo de hidrog{\^e}nio neutro (HI). A 
                         distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o de HI{\'e} um dos tra{\c{c}}adores da 
                         aglutina{\c{c}}{\~a}ode mat{\'e}ria e da forma{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         de estruturas e {\'e}, possivelmente, a {\'u}nica forma de 
                         observar o universo antes dareioniza{\c{c}}{\~a}o, ocorrida 
                         em20\&z\&6. Apresentamos a t{\'e}cnica de radioastronomia 
                         utilizada para medir adistribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o de HI, conhecida 
                         como mapeamento de intensidade, e os requisitos instrumentais 
                         necess{\'a}rios pararealiz{\'a}-lo e produzir um levantamento de 
                         HIem r{\'a}dio, ao longo de um intervalo 
                         deredshifts2,5\&z\&0,1.Nesse contexto, apresentamos o 
                         radiotelesc{\'o}pio BINGO, que est{\'a} sendo 
                         constru{\'{\i}}do no Brasil e foi projetadopara medir 
                         oscila{\c{c}}{\~o}es ac{\'u}sticas de b{\'a}rions no universo 
                         pr{\'o}ximo (0,127\≤z\≤0,449) usando o mapeamento 
                         deintensidade da transi{\c{c}}{\~a}o de 21 cm. ABSTRACT: In this 
                         article we present a brief overview of the 21 cm cosmology, based 
                         on the study of the hyperfine spintransition of the electron in 
                         the neutral hydrogen atom (HI). The hydrogen distribution is one 
                         of the tracers ofthe matter clustering and formation of structures 
                         and it is possibly the only way to observe the Universe 
                         beforereionization, which occurred in20\&z\&6. We present the 
                         radio astronomy technique used to measure thedistribution of HI, 
                         known as intensity mapping, and the instrumental requirements 
                         needed to perform it andproduce a HIsurvey in radio, over an 
                         interval ofredshifts2.5\&z\&0.1. In this context, we present the 
                         BINGOradio telescope, which is being built in Brazil and was 
                         designed to measure acoustic oscillations of baryons inthe nearby 
                         Universe (0.127\≤z\≤0.449) using intensity mapping 
                         of the 21 cm transition.",
