                         intensamente nos munic{\'{\i}}pios de Santar{\'e}m, Belterra e 
                         Moju{\'{\i}} dos Campos, que integram a bacia do rio 
                         Curu{\'a}-Una. Esse estudo se prop{\~o}e a analisar 
                         din{\^a}micas de uso e cobertura da terrapara o per{\'{\i}}odo 
                         de 2000 a 2019 na bacia do Rio Curu{\'a}-Una, observando sobre 
                         quais classes a Agricultura de Larga Escala (LSA) se expandiu. As 
                         atuais bases de dados de uso e cobertura da terra da Amaz{\^o}nia 
                         n{\~a}o contemplam a Agricultura de Pequena Escala (SSA). Para 
                         incluir essaclasse, fez-se uso de imagens TM/OLI/Landsat, 
                         t{\'e}cnicas de segmenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         multirresolu{\c{c}}{\~a}o e classifica{\c{c}}{\~a}o orientada 
                         {\`a} objeto.Para a an{\'a}lise das din{\^a}micas da LSA 
                         utilizou-se matrizes de transi{\c{c}}{\~a}o para os 
                         per{\'{\i}}odos de 2000-2010, 2010-2019 e 2000-2019.Como 
                         resultado, observou-seum ganho de {\'a}rea da LSA no 
                         per{\'{\i}}odo de 2000-2019, de 23 kmē para 1.093 kmē. O 
                         per{\'{\i}}odo de 2000-2010 foi o que apresentou maior ganho 
                         (25%). A expans{\~a}o da LSA se deu primordialmente sobre 
                         {\'a}reas de Pastagens (38%), Vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         Secund{\'a}ria (31%), Floresta (27%) e SSA (2%). Cerca de 25% da 
                         {\'a}rea de SSA de 2000 foi convertida para LSA em 2019. Essa 
                         propor{\c{c}}{\~a}o pode ser ainda maior, pois parte da 
                         Vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o Secund{\'a}ria convertida para LSA, 
                         comp{\~o}e o sistema de pousio da SSA. Esses resultados 
                         refor{\c{c}}am a import{\^a}ncia de se estabelecer 
                         pol{\'{\i}}ticas p{\'u}bicas que valorizem e fortale{\c{c}}am 
                         a economia local. ABSTRACT: The soy expansion has generated 
                         important changes in the Brazilian Amazon due to land 
                         concentration processes, landscape homogenization and expansion 
                         over other forms of production. In Par{\'a}, this process has 
                         occurredmore intensely in the municipalities ofSantar{\'e}m, 
                         Belterra and Moju{\'{\i}} dos Campos, which are part of the 
                         Curu{\'a}-Una river basin. This study aims to analyze the 
                         dynamics of land use and land cover for the period 2000 to 2019, 
                         in the Curu{\'a}-Una River basin, observing which classes 
                         Large-Scale Agriculture (AGLE) has expanded. The current land use 
                         and land cover databases in the Amazon do not include Small-Scale 
                         Agriculture (AGPE)class. To include this class in the mapping we 
                         used TM/OLI/Landsat images with multi-resolution segmentation 
                         techniques and object-oriented classification. For the analysis of 
                         the AGLEdynamics, transition matrices for the periodsof2000-2010, 
                         2010-2019 and 2000-2019 were built. As a result, we observedan 
                         area gain for AGLE in the period 2000-2019, from 23 kmē to 1,093 
                         kmē. The period of 2000-2010 was the one with the greatest gain 
                         (25%). AGLE's expansion took place primarily over pasture (38%), 
                         secondary vegetation (31%), forest (27%) and AGPE (2%). About 25% 
                         of the AGPE area in 2000 wereconverted to AGPE in 2019. 
                         Thatproportion may be even higher, as part of the secondary 
                         vegetation converted to AGLE, is part ofthe AGPE fallow system. 
                         The results reinforce the importance of establishing public 
                         policies valuingand strengtheningthe local economy.",
