abstract = "Nas {\'u}ltimas d{\'e}cadas os eventos clim{\'a}ticos extremos,
como secas severas e chuvas intensas, vem acontecendo com maior
frequ{\^e}ncia e em intervalos de tempo cada vez menores. As
rela{\c{c}}{\~o}es entre eventos de secas, press{\~o}es
antr{\'o}picas pelo desmatamento e o avan{\c{c}}o
agroindustrial, contribuem significativamente para o aumento de
ocorr{\^e}ncia de queimadas. O desenvolvimento de metodologias e
a utiliza{\c{c}}{\~a}o de produtos provenientes de sensores
remotos, j{\'a} existentes, que possam subsidiar as
a{\c{c}}{\~o}es de manejo do fogo (previs{\~a}o e combate)
s{\~a}o extremamente necess{\'a}rios. Portanto, neste estudo,
temos como objetivo, relacionar a din{\^a}mica da
vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o, atrav{\'e}s dos {\'{\i}}ndices de
vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o NDVI e VCI, identificando sua
susceptibilidade {\`a} ocorr{\^e}ncia de queimadas, utilizando
dados do sensor MODIS entre o per{\'{\i}}odo de 2001-2021.
Nossos resultados demonstram a import{\^a}ncia do uso de IVs,
como o VCI, que ressalta as condi{\c{c}}{\~o}es da
vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o suscept{\'{\i}}veis ao fogo, podendo
colaborar para as a{\c{c}}{\~o}es de gest{\~a}o em {\'a}reas
de prote{\c{c}}{\~a}o no Cerrado brasileiro. ABSTRACT: In recent
decades, extreme weather events, such as severe droughts and heavy
rains, have been happening more frequently and at increasingly
shorter intervals. The relationships between drought events,
anthropic pressures from deforestation and agro-industrial
advances significantly contribute to the increase in the
occurrence of fires. The development of methodologies and the use
of products from remote sensors, which already exist, that can
support fire management actions (forecasting and fighting) are
extremely necessary. Therefore, in this study, we aim to relate
the vegetation dynamics, through the NDVI and VCI vegetation
indices, identifying its susceptibility to the occurrence of
fires, using data from the MODIS sensor between the period
2001-2021. Our results demonstrate the importance of the use of
IVs, such as the VCI, which highlights the conditions of
vegetation susceptible to fire, and can collaborate for management
actions in protected areas in the brazilian Cerrado.",
