                         on South America in the levels of 1000 hPa, 850 hPa, 500 hPa and 
                         150 hPa in characteristic periods of Winter (among May to August) 
                         and of Summer (among November to February). These data were 
                         obtained through the reanalysis of the Model of General 
                         Circulation of NCEP/COLA during the period among 1979 to 1995. The 
                         graphs of the current lines were generated through the program
