observa{\c{c}}{\~o}es de umidade no solo obtidas pelo
Experimento de Grande Escala na Biosfera-Atmosfera na
Amaz{\^o}nia (LBA) em Rond{\^o}nia. ABSTRACT: The operational
model of soil moisture used by the Weather Forecast and Climate
Research Center (CPTEC/INPE) has a limitation to represent
processes close to saturation. A new formulation, able to
represent the soil water dynamic when the soil storage is about
field capacity, is presented in this work. Model's simulations are
validated using soil moisture date from sites of the Large Scale
Biosphere-Atmosphere Experiment in Amazonia (LBA) in Rondonia.",
