determine CH4 and CO2 emissions and related environmental
conditions in Corumb{\'a} Reservoir, Goi{\'a}s, Brazil. Mean CH4
bubble fluxes in November 2004, and March and August 2005 were
0.05 ± 2.19, 4 ± 45 and 505 ± 1192mgCH4.m-2.d-1, respectively.
Mean CH4 diffusive fluxes were 17 ± 6, 37 ± 9 and 69 ±
28mgCH4.m-2.d-1, and CO2 diffusive fluxes were respectively 59 ±
398, 385 ± 629 and 1466 ± 1223mgCO2.m-2.d-1. Gas fluxes varied
according to the depth of the sampling sites in the littoral zone,
though spatial or temporal patterns were not seasonally
consistent. Changes in CH4 and CO2 emissions were likely
associated with changes in sediment pressure, methanogenesis and
methanotrophy induced by atmospheric and climate variations, such
as cold fronts and hydrologic variations.",
