abstract = "This work introduces a new, rapidly convergent, numerical method
for internal loading distribution calculation in statically loaded
single-row angular-contact ball bearings subjected to a known
eccentric thrust load, which is applied to a variable distance
(lever arm or eccentricity) from the geometric bearing centerline.
Numerical results for a 218 angular-contact ball bearing have been
compared with those from the literature and show significant
differences in the magnitudes of the maximum ball load and extend
of the loading zone.",
