%X This paper reports on a work that is integrating several sources of data at different scales using the GIS system SPRING to provide a basis for the reclamation of degraded areas at the municipal district of Santo Antônio do Pinhal, SP. The major sources of data are satellite imagery (Landsat TM, CBERS and SPOT), Topographic maps (1:50,000) and several thematic maps published by the Project MAVALE. Once the areas of restricted use are identified based on the Federal Forest Law, they will be overlaid with the different thematic maps to outline the most critical areas to be reclaimed. In addition to provide information for reclamation, this work would support a development plan design for this tourist resort region.
