                         Brasil (17-26ºS e 40-54ºW), bem como sua variabilidade interanual, 
                         a partir da an{\'a}lise conjunta dos dados de 
                         precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o produzidos pelo Climate Prediction Center 
                         da NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), 
                         circula{\c{c}}{\~a}o nos baixos n{\'{\i}}veis da atmosfera 
                         (Rean{\'a}lises do NCEP-NCAR), Radia{\c{c}}{\~a}o de Onda Longa 
                         (ROL), obtidos da NOAA-CIRES Climate Diagnostics Center, e 
                         Temperatura da Superf{\'{\i}}cie do Mar (TSM), 
                         extra{\'{\i}}dos do Comprehesive Ocean-Atmosphere Data Set 
                         (COADS/NOAA), utilizando diferentes crit{\'e}rios e limiares. Os 
                         resultados s{\~a}o para o per{\'{\i}}odo 1968-97 e mostraram 
                         que: 1) Em m{\'e}dia o in{\'{\i}}cio da esta{\c{c}}{\~a}o 
                         chuvosa acontece na p{\^e}ntada 57 (08-12 de outubro), com desvio 
                         padr{\~a}o de ±2 p{\^e}ntadas; 2) A variabilidade interanual do 
                         onset t{\^e}m mostrado uma associa{\c{c}}{\~a}o com anomalias 
                         de TSM no Oceano Pac{\'{\i}}fico. Em outras palavras, a 
                         esta{\c{c}}{\~a}o chuvosa parece come{\c{c}}ar mais cedo em 
                         anos nos quais a TSM est{\'a} mais quente e mais tarde em anos 
                         nos quais se observam TSM`s mais frias; 3) O onset est{\'a} 
                         associado com um intenso transporte de umidade atmosf{\'e}rica da 
                         regi{\~a}o Amaz{\^o}nica para as latitudes subtropicais. 
                         Abstract: This paper shows the atmospheric and oceans dominat 
                         patterns of the onset over Southeast of Brazil (defined as the 
                         region of 17-26ºS e 40-54ºW), as well as interannual variability, 
                         from the analysis between precipitation data by Climate Prediction 
                         Center of NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), 
                         low-level wind fields were obtaided from the NCEP/NCAR, Outgoing 
                         Longwave Radiation (OLR) and Sea Surface Temperature anomalies 
                         were obtained from COADS/NOAA (Comprehesive Ocean-Atmosphere Data 
                         Set), a given different methods and threshold. The results are 
                         examined for the period 1968-97 and showed that: 1) The onset of 
                         the rainy season arriving in early October (57 pentad), with 
                         standard deviation ±2 pentad; 2) The interannual variability onset 
                         was associated with warm Pacific result in early onset and cold 
                         Pacific a delay; 3) There is an apparent association between onset 
                         and a stronger moisture transport of the Amazon Basin on this 
                         area.",
