%X This paper describes the application of a transdisciplinary process oriented framework named ENGESIS as a base for the creation and implementation of generic Product Lifecycle Management supporting systems. The generic Product Lifecycle Management environment created can be used to support the automated execution and management of the essential procedures of the systems concurrent engineering lifecycle processes, as an alternative to complete and/or tailored Product Lifecycle Management and Business Process Management systems, which are usually costly, complex, and difficult to customize and integrate with other enterprise´s legacy software applications.
