                         and atmospheric global circulation models to predict summer 
                         rainfall variability over South America and South Atlantic 
                         regions. It is shown that while the coupled model presents severe 
                         climate drift during the first months of integration, summer 
                         rainfall anomalies over the area of study can be better predicted 
                         using the coupled model than the atmospheric global model.",
