variabilidade atmosf{\'e}rica na regi{\~a}o tropical na escala
de tempo intrassazonal, cujo per{\'{\i}}odo
caracter{\'{\i}}stico de atividade {\'e} de 30 a 60 dias,
contribui para a ocorr{\^e}ncia de per{\'{\i}}odos alternados
de d{\'e}ficit e excesso de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o no Sudeste
da Am{\'e}rica do Sul. Nesta regi{\~a}o, o ver{\~a}o {\'e} bem
definido, com um regime de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o superior a 700
mm. Entretanto, no ver{\~a}o de 2014 foi registrado um
epis{\'o}dio de seca sobre a Regi{\~a}o Sudeste do Brasil,
sobretudo no norte do Estado de S{\~a}o Paulo, onde se situa o
Sistema Cantareira, considerado um dos maiores do mundo, por
abastacer cerca de 8,8 milh{\~o}es de consumidores. Neste estudo,
investigou-se as influ{\^e}ncias da OMJ sobre a Regi{\~a}o
Sudeste do Brasil, com {\^e}nfase no Sistema Cantareira durante o
referido per{\'{\i}}odo. Foram realizadas an{\'a}lises das
anomalias de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o e de radia{\c{c}}{\~a}o de
onda longa (ROL) no topo da atmosfera, numa {\'a}rea compreendida
entre as longitudes 50°W/40°W e latitudes 26°S/16°S durante o
ver{\~a}o de 2014. As an{\'a}lises indicaram que as
oscila{\c{c}}{\~o}es intrassazonais estiveram inativas desde
meados de dezembro de 2013 at{\'e} mar{\c{c}}o de 2014,
impactando negativamente o regime de precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o
sobre a Regi{\~a}o Sudeste do Brasil e, desta forma, sendo um dos
fatores respons{\'a}veis para o d{\'e}ficit de chuva verificado
no Sistema Cantareira ao longo do ver{\~a}o de 2014./ Patterns of
atmospheric circulation and oceanic large scale, including the
intraseasonal oscillations (Madden-Jullian Oscillation - MJO),
exert a strong influence on precipitation patterns across the
globe. The atmospheric variability in the tropical region on
intraseasonal time scale, whose characteristic activity period is
30-60 days contributes to the occurrence of alternating periods of
deficit and excess rainfall in southeastern South America in this
region, summer is well defined, with a system of more than 700 mm
rainfall. However, in summer 2014 was recorded an episode of
drought on the Southeast of Brazil, particularly in the northern
state of S{\~a}o Paulo, where the Cantareira System, one of the
largest in the world is located, supply 8.8 million consumers. In
this study, we investigate the influences of the MJO on the
Southeast region of Brazil, with emphasis on Cantareira System
during that period. Analysis of the precipitation anomalies and
longwave radiation (OLR) at the top of the atmosphere in between
longitudes 50°W/40°W and latitudes 26°S/16°S during the summer
2014 field were performed. The analyzes indicated that the
oscillations intraseasonal been inactive since mid-December 2013
until March 2014, negatively impacting the regime of precipitation
over southeastern Brazil and thus being one of the factors
responsible for the deficit of rainfall recorded in Cantareira
System throughout the summer 2014.",
