             abstract = "Over the last 4 years, a series of Capacity Building Workshops in 
                         the cross-disciplinary subject of Space Weather has been initiated 
                         in the framework of COSPARs Panel on Capacity Building. The first 
                         workshop took place in 2016 in Kamchatka, Russia led by IKIR RAS 
                         and the second will take place later in 2018 in Sao Jose dos 
                         Campos, Brazil led by INPEs Embrace Programme. This presentation 
                         will describe efforts undertaken to date in order to develop a 
                         format which combines scientific excellence with operational 
                         awareness and practices. Current experience will be presented 
                         along with possible future directions. Opportunities presented by 
                         increasingly available web technologies to reach a wider audience, 
                         while maintaining the integrity and quality of the courses 
                         themselves, will be discussed.",
