abstract = "The present paper analyzed the relationship between streamflow and
rainfall at the stream of Itapemirim River Watershed (BHRI). The
minimum streamflow with duration of seven days (Q7), the average
annual streamflow (Qmed) and the annual maximum streamflow (Qmax)
of 11 BHRIs sub-basins were determined. Trends in rainfall and
streamflow series were analyzed with Mann-Kandall and Pettitt
nonparametric tests. Regression analysis between rainfall and
streamflow were established. Results showed no trends on rainfall
and Q7 series. Trends in Qmed were found only at one sub-basin and
trends in Qmax were found in two sub-basins. The total rainfall
was correlated with the streamflow of all the sub-basins. It has
been found that annual rainfall amount (Pa) explained considerably
variations in Qmed and Q7. Rainfall amounts of the rainiest month
(Pmax) showed good correlation to Qmax. RESUMO:
Rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o entre as vaz{\~o}es e as
precipita{\c{c}}{\~o}es na bacia hidrogr{\'a}fica do rio
Itapemirim. O presente trabalho teve por objetivo analisar a
rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o entre as vaz{\~o}es de cursos d{\'a}guas da
bacia hidrogr{\'a}fica do rio Itapemirim (BHRI) e a
precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o pluviom{\'e}trica. Determinaram-se, para
as 11 sub-bacias da BHRI, a vaz{\~a}o m{\'{\i}}nima m{\'e}dia
com sete dias de dura{\c{c}}{\~a}o (Q7), a vaz{\~a}o m{\'e}dia
anual (Qmed) e a vaz{\~a}o m{\'a}xima anual (Qmax). A fim de
verificar a ocorr{\^e}ncia de tend{\^e}ncias significativas e/ou
mudan{\c{c}}as bruscas nas s{\'e}ries de vaz{\~a}o e
precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o, aplicaram-se os testes de Mann-Kendall e
de Pettitt. Para a an{\'a}lise da rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o entre
chuvas e vaz{\~o}es foram realizadas an{\'a}lises de
regress{\~a}o. Com rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a}s tend{\^e}ncias,
os resultados mostram que as precipita{\c{c}}{\~o}es e a Q7 se
mostraram estacion{\'a}rias em todas as sub-bacias. A Qmed
n{\~a}o foi estacion{\'a}ria apenas em uma e a Qmax em duas das
subbacias. O total precipitado possui forte correla{\c{c}}{\~a}o
com as vaz{\~o}es das sub-bacias estudadas. Verificou-se que as
chuvas anuais (Pa) atuaram de forma consider{\'a}vel para as
varia{\c{c}}{\~o}es das Qmed e Q7. As chuvas do m{\^e}s mais
chuvoso (Pmax) mostraram boa correla{\c{c}}{\~a}o com a Qmax.",
