abstract = "We propose a novel algorithm for clustering data from PolSAR
images. The inspiration for this algorithm came from the Bisecting
K-Means clustering algorithm. We divide the dataset into two dummy
clusters using the plan over the PCA First Component as the
frontier, the mean value of each clusters will be the initial
centroid. After that, the Bisecting is performed using the
stochastic distance of Bhattacharya. We compare the proposed
algorithm with the regular Bisecting K-means. To assess the
performance of our algorithm, a Monte Carlo simulation was
performed and the results suggest that our algorithm had a better
classification performance.",
