                         intergal{\'a}tico, bem como restringir par{\^a}metros 
                         cosmol{\'o}gicos. Uma revis{\~a}o bibliogr{\'a}fica sobre FRBs, 
                         descrevendo a f{\'{\i}}sica b{\'a}sica para o entendimento do 
                         fen{\^o}meno e apresentando modelos que visam explicar a origem 
                         desses fen{\^o}meno {\'e} feita na parte introdut{\'o}ria da 
                         disserta{\c{c}}{\~a}o. A principal contribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o da 
                         disserta{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\'e} a proposta de 
                         utiliza{\c{c}}{\~a}o do radiotelesc{\'o}pio BINGO (BAO from 
                         Integrated Neutral Gas Observations) como um detector de 
                         transientes em r{\'a}dio. Para isso, foram realizados testes de 
                         diversos componentes e a integra{\c{c}}{\~a}o do prot{\'o}tipo 
                         de receptor de pot{\^e}ncia total desenvolvido na Divis{\~a}o de 
                         Astrof{\'{\i}}sica do INPE (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas 
                         Espaciais). A partir dos resultados obtidos para este 
                         prot{\'o}tipo, um limite superior para a temperatura de sistema 
                         (89 K) foi calculado. Este limite foi utilizado para estimar a 
                         expectativa de detec{\c{c}}{\~a}o de FRBs para o 
                         radiotelesc{\'o}pio BINGO. ABSTRACT: Fast Radio Bursts (FRB) are 
                         highly energetic and short-duration bursts observed in radio, 
                         probably of extragalactic origin. The study of these transients 
                         can contribute to the characterization of the intergalactic 
                         environment, as well as restrict cosmological parameters. A 
                         bibliographic review on FRBs, describing the basic physics for 
                         understanding the phenomenon and presenting models that aim to 
                         explain the origin of these phenomena is made in the introductory 
                         part of the dissertation. The main contribution of the 
                         dissertation is the proposal to use the BINGO radio telescope (BAO 
                         from Integrated Neutral Gas Observations) as a radio transient 
                         detector. For that, tests of several components were carried out 
                         and the integration of a total power receiver prototype developed 
                         in the Astrophysics Division of INPE (National Institute for Space 
                         Research). From the results obtained for this prototype, an upper 
                         limit for the system temperature (89 K) was calculated. This limit 
                         was used to estimate the expectation of detecting FRBs for the 
                         BINGO radio telescope.",
