principalmente no per{\'{\i}}odo noturno. O presente estudo teve
como objetivo descrever as caracter{\'{\i}}sticas
est{\'a}vel em baixos n{\'{\i}}veis. Para
realiza{\c{c}}{\~a}o deste estudo, foram utilizados dados do
convec{\c{c}}{\~a}o elevada e tamb{\'e}m as
caracter{\'{\i}}sticas termodin{\^a}micas dos eventos
considerados.
rela{\c{c}}{\~a}o {\`a} convec{\c{c}}{\~a}o n{\~a}o elevada.
convec{\c{c}}{\~a}o elevada e 577 n{\~a}o elevadas. Os
limite est{\'a}vel pr{\'o}xima {\`a} superf{\'{\i}}cie e
fazendo com que a instabilidade seja elevada. ABSTRACT: Several
studies show that the occurrence of mesoscale convective systems
in the Southeast Region of South America (RSAS) has a relatively
high frequency, especially at night. The present study aimed to
describe the synoptic, dynamic and thermodynamic characteristics
of this type of convection, as well as to verify the existence of
high convection, which is convection associated with an air parcel
that originates over a stable layer at low levels. To carry out
this study, data from the TRMM equatorial orbit satellite were
used to characterize night storms between 00 and 12 UTC. Through
the use of radiosonding data from the ERA5 reanalysis, the
existence of high convection was verified, as well as the
thermodynamic characteristics of the events considered. In
addition, atmospheric composites were constructed determining the
synoptic patterns associated with the occurrence of elevated
convection, as well as their differences in relation to
non-elevated convection. In addition, a case that occurred during
the RELAMPAGO project in Argentina was selected to carry out the
study and compare with the generated compounds. A total of 781
cases of nocturnal convection were identified in the RSAS, with
204 related to elevated convection and 577 non-elevated. The
synoptic compounds show the advance of a cold air mass related to
cases of high convection, which is responsible for the formation
of the stable boundary layer close to the surface and causing high
instability.",
