This work has goal to perform an analysis of NANOSATC-BR1 thermal
behavior. The NANOSATC-BR1 is the first satellite belonged to
NANOSATC-BR Project Development of Cubestas, which is performed in
the facilities built on the partnership between the National
Institute of Space Research and the Technological Center from
Federal University of Santa Maria (LACESM/CRS/INPEMCTI). The
project aims the development of scientific instrumentation and,
simultaneously, the development of the design, construction,
qualification and launch of a national scientific nanosatellite,
in a cube shape with 100 mm of edge and near to 1,33 kg of mass.
The thermal analysis is performed with the main goal to predict
discrepancies in the temperature distribution throughout the
satellite, since the satellite is exposed to severe temperatures
range throughout its orbit. A specialized software for thermal
analysis in orbit is used, called SINDA/THERMAL DESKTOP, by
applying numerical methods of finite difference, with the aim to
obtain the thermal mapping of the satellite. By performing the
extreme thermal cases, and having just the metallic structure as
thermal isolation, the satellite is suitable for the mission, from
the thermal point of view. The NANOSATC-BR1 was launched in June
19th and it is orbiting the Earth in a nominal regime.",
