                         par{\^a}metros biof{\'{\i}}sicos e bioqu{\'{\i}}micos da
vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o.
                         Considerando florestas subtropicais dec{\'{\i}}duas, a
folhas.
Estadual do Turvo (PET), utilizando imagens do Moderate Resolution
                         Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS)/Terra e Multi-angle Imaging
                         SpectroRadiometer (MISR)/Terra e simula{\c{c}}{\~o}es PROSAIL. A
metodologia incluiu campanhas de campo (fotografias
                         hemisf{\'e}ricas e invent{\'a}rio florestal),
                         aquisi{\c{c}}{\~a}o e pr{\'e}processamento das imagens MODIS e
                         MISR, c{\'a}lculo dos {\'{\i}}ndices de vegeta{\c{c}}{\~a}o,
                         do {\'{\i}}ndice de {\'a}rea foliar (IAF) e
PROSAIL.
algumas esp{\'e}cies dominantes. ABSTRACT If one take into
account directional and angular effects on remote sensing
products, one can avoid misinterpretations or wrong estimates of
biophysical and biochemical vegetation parameters. Most of the
efforts to understand these effects have focus on tropical
forests. When subtropical deciduous forests are considered, the
complexity of view-illumination geometry effects is coupled with
the effects resultant from litter fall. In this context, the
objective of the work was to evaluate the effect of seasonal
variations in solar zenith angle and litter fall in subtropical
deciduous forest of the Parque Estadual do Turvo (PET) using
Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS)/Terra and
Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR)/Terra images and
PROSAIL simulations. The methodology included field campaigns
(hemispherical photographs and forest inventory), acquisition and
pre-processing of the MODIS and MISR images, vegetation indices
and leaf area index (LAI) calculation and PROSAIL radiative
transfer model simulations. In short, results showed that the
directional and angular effects increased from summer to winter
because of the combined effect of solar zenith angle increase
(more shadow seem by the sensor) and of LAI decrease due to litter
                         fall in some dominant species.",
