abstract = "O objetivo deste trabalho {\'e} avaliar a efici{\^e}ncia do
modelo RegCM4 em reproduzir as precipita{\c{c}}{\~o}es sazonais
sobre a Amaz{\^o}nia no clima atual (1979-2014), com
refer{\^e}ncia ao conjunto de dados do GPCP. De maneira geral, os
resultados mostraram que o RegCM4 reproduziu de maneira
satisfat{\'o}ria os padr{\~o}es sazonais de
precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o na Regi{\~a}o. Contudo, as an{\'a}lises
quantitativas demonstraram que o RegCM4 apresenta erros
sistem{\'a}ticos de subestimativa (vi{\'e}s negativo) no
ver{\~a}o e outono, e superestimava (vi{\'e}s positivo) no
inverno e primavera. Al{\'e}m disso, foi investigado o desempenho
do modelo em reproduzir os padr{\~o}es an{\^o}malos sazonais de
precipita{\c{c}}{\~a}o. Os resultados demonstraram uma boa
concord{\^a}ncia entre as anomalias de chuva observadas e
simuladas no per{\'{\i}}odo estudado. ABSTRACT: The objective of
this study is to evaluate the efficiency of RegCM4 model to
reproduce the seasonal rainfall over the Amazon in the current
climate (1979-2014), in reference to the set of data GPCP. In
general, the results show that reproduces RegCM4 satisfactorily
seasonal precipitation patterns in the Region. However,
quantitative analysis showed that the RegCM4 presents systematic
errors of underestimation (negative bias) in summer and autumn,
and overestimated (positive bias) in winter and spring.
Furthermore, it was investigated in the model performance
reproduce seasonal precipitation anomalous patterns. The results
demonstrated good agreement between the rainfall anomalies
observed and simulated during the study period.",
