                         considerando as mudan{\c{c}}as espaciais e temporais da perda de 
                         floresta para o per{\'{\i}}odo de 1985 a 2018. Utilizou-se 
                         imagens do sensor Landsat para o mesmo per{\'{\i}}odo, 
                         referentes {\`a}s {\'o}rbitas/ pontos 223/62 e 223/61. Foram 
                         realizadas composi{\c{c}}{\~o}es coloridas RGB, realce linear de 
                         contraste das imagens e segmenta{\c{c}}{\~a}o. Em seguida, 
                         realizou-se a interpreta{\c{c}}{\~a}o das imagens por 
                         discrimina{\c{c}}{\~a}o de classes. Os pol{\'{\i}}gonos foram 
                         categorizados em 6 faixas de tamanho de {\'a}reas desmatadas. 
                         Adicionalmente, realizou-se a edi{\c{c}}{\~a}o dos resultados do 
                         mapeamento e a elabora{\c{c}}{\~a}o de cartas tem{\'a}ticas. A 
                         expans{\~a}o do desmatamento entre 1985 e 2018 acarretou perda de 
                         aproximadamente 298 mil ha de floresta (57% da {\'a}rea do 
                         munic{\'{\i}}pio). Em todos os anos, foram observados valores 
                         elevados de pol{\'{\i}}gonos no intervalo \≤ 6,25 ha e 
                         reduzido valor no intervalo > 50 ha. Os pequenos fragmentos 
                         (\≤ 6,25 ha) respondiam por 15% de todo o desmatamento, 
                         enquanto os grandes (> 50 ha) respondiam por 45%. Ao longo do 
                         per{\'{\i}}odo analisado, foram observadas diferen{\c{c}}as 
                         tanto na an{\'a}lise temporal, quanto nos padr{\~o}es de 
                         distribui{\c{c}}{\~a}o do desmatamento, indicando forte 
                         potencialidade futura {\`a} perda de floresta. ABSTRACT: The 
                         objective of this research was to quantify deforestation, 
                         considering the spatial and temporal changes of forest loss for 
                         the period from 1985 to 2018. We used Landsat sensor images for 
                         the same period, according to orbits/points 223/62 and 223/61. 
                         Color compositions, linear contrast enhancement and segmentation 
                         were performed. The interpretation and the classification of the 
                         images were performed through class discrimination. The polygons 
                         were classified in 6 size ranges of deforested areas. 
                         Additionally, the mapping results were edited and thematic letters 
                         were elaborated. The expansion of deforestation led to a loss of 
                         forest of approximately 298 thousand ha between 1985 and 2018 (57% 
                         of the municipality area). In all years, high values of polygons 
                         were observed in the range \≤ 6.25 ha and reduced value in 
                         the range > 50 ha. Small fragments (\≤ 6.25 ha) accounted 
                         for 15% of all deforestation, while large fragments (> 50 ha) 
                         accounted for 45%. The analyzed period showed substantial 
                         differences in both temporal analysis and deforestation 
                         distribution patterns, indicating a strong potential for future 
                         forest loss.",
