%X The changes in the chemical composition of the atmosphere due to reactions between its components have significant impact in the agriculture, population health, economics and other factors. A chemical kinetics model can be coupled to a numerical model of weather or climate prediction, but it computational cost is very high, hindering their operational use. This paper investigates the parallelization of the chemical kinetics model of CPTEC/INPE using graphic accelerators cards.
