| Abstract | A precipitação é fundamental na caracterização climática de uma região a mudança da vegetação natural altera as relações de troca de energia e água atmosfera-vegetação-solo. Sendo assim, é esperada uma modificação no padrão de nuvens e precipitação após o desflorestamento. Esse efeito, contudo, se processa lentamente na escala espacial das medidas climáticas de que dispomos. Outro ponto observado nesse estudo foi a maior frequencia de tempestades severas na pré-estação chuvosa, bem marcada nas regiões desflorestadas.. |
