AbstractO problema principal das pesquisas micrometeorológicas e estabelecer meios para derivar vários fluxos com medidas de perfis de vento, temperatura e umidade. Neste trabalho procurou-se fazer um estudo das relações fluxo-perfis e das razões entre os coeficientes de transporte de momentum, calor sensível e vapor d agua, com a estabilidade para uma superfície vegetal da (cultura em crescimento). Apresentaram-se também as variações do balanço de energia com as características aerodinâmicas da superfície em quatro estágios sucessivos da cultura, calcularam-se os coeficientes que traduzem as condições térmicas e hídricas do experimento nestes estágios. Os resultados mostram que os fluxos adimensionais de momentum, calor sensível e vapor d'água, relacionados com a razão de altura adimensional, seguem a forma exponencial. O balanço de energia próximo a superfície, bem como o efeito introduzido com variações da rugosidade da superfície, sobre os fluxos, mostraram ser ótimas ferramentas para a caracterização das diversas fases do experimento. Os parâmetros térmicos e hídricos derivados do balanço de energia também foram de grande valia na caracterização das condições do solo. ABSTRACT: The importance of the micrometeorological studies in the atmospheric boundary layer to the environmental sciences and to the general circulation of the atmosphere has been recognized. A central and recurring feature of the micrometeorological research has been to establish means of deriving various fluxes from wind, temperature and water vapour profiles. In view of this a micrometeorological experiment at the Jaboticabal Campus of UNESP has conducted to obtain the necessary experimental data, above a growing crop surface. This work presents the fluxe-profiles relationships and the ratios among momentum, sensible heat and water vapour eddy diffusivities with stability for a well covered soil surface. It also presents the energy balance changes ithaerodynamic characteristics of the surface for four successive crop stages. The parameterizations proposed by' Penman-Long (1976) and Halstead-Clayton (1958) are used to calculate the sensible and water vapour fluxes. The results of the momentum, sensible heat and water vapour dimensionless fluxes follow the exponential relation with the dimensionless stability parameter z/L. The constants of the fluxe-profile relationships are modified from the present experimental results. The ratios of eddy diffusivities agreed with previous studies but they showed slight high values for neutral and stable conditions. The surface energy balance data obtained from this experiment are good enough to characterize the several crop stages and the effect of the aerodynamic surface roughness on fluxes. The constants of the general radiation balance equation are determined for four crop stages. The importance of advection in the energy balance computations is explained. The study also concludes that the Penman-Long (1976) and Halstead-Clayton (1958) parameterizations are good enough for practical purposes. The derived thermal and hydraulic parameters from the energy balance are useful in the characterization of soil conditions. It is suggested. that these results indicate that the choice of site and conditions for micrometeorological research is critical, and that disparity between a number of experiments may be a consequence of failure to satisfy various basic requirements.
