| Abstract | We agree with Sonnemann (2001) about the di8culty involved in a statistical analysis like the present one. Indeed, the in;uence of the earths atmosphere on the strength of the geomagnetic activity, as a cause for the deviation of the observed annual variation from the seasonal pattern, should not be disregarded. |
