Abstract | This note reports some results from a project directed to the simulation and prediction of rainfall from the CPTECAGCM and 2 regional models (ETA/CPTEC and BRAMS). The Strategy of this project is on the use of seasonal predicted rainfall from global and regional models (after some corrections due to systematic errors) as entry for seasonal streamflow forecasts derived from distributed hydrological model (MGB-IHP). The project has as a goal the seasonal forecasts of streamflow in the São Francisco River Basin using simulated rainfall from the global and regional models. |
