| Abstract | Através do vento na superfície do mar obitido pelo satélite QuikSCAT pode-se identificar a posição de ciclones tropicais no oceano Atlântico Sul. Utiliza-se valores empiricos de vorticidade, velociade do vento e área de influência obtidos por resultarem no melhor traçado do ciclone Catarina. ABSTRACT: Through the wind on the surface of the sea get by QuikSCAT satellite it is possible to identify the position of tropical cyclones in the South Atlantic Ocean. Using empirical values of vorticity, wind speed and area of influence in the best result obtained by tracing the cyclone Catarina. |
