AbstractA TSM estimada no Atlântico Sul pelos satélites NOAA-17 e MSG foram validadas por dados in-situ obtidos por derivadores do projeto PNBOIA. Os dados de composições diárias desses satélites aferidos com a TSM do mesmo dia e posição das bóias lagrangeanas resultaram em scater-plots e séries temporais. Mesmo com a cobertura de nuvens reduzindo a amostragem comparativa concluimos que a TSM obtida dos satelites é satisfatoria. ABSTRACT: VALIDATION OF THE SATELLITE SST WITH IN-SITU PNBOIAS DATA.The TSM estimated in the South Atlantic by satellite NOAA-17 and MSG were validated by in-situ data obtained by PNBOIA drift. Data from these compositions daily satellites detected with TSM in the same day and position of lagrang's buoys resulted in scater-plots and time series. Even with the cover of clouds reducing the comparative sampling conclude that the TSM obtained from satellites is satisfactory..
