| Abstract | O presente trabalho tem como objetivo mostrar o comportamento dos padrões sinóticos e sub-sinóticos que atuaram sobre o estado do Rio de Janeiro, no período de janeiro/2006 a março/2007, e a sua ligação com a interrupção no fornecimento de energia elétrica pela empresa AMPLA. Neste estudo foram utilizadas as informações do modelo FORTRACC, imagens do canal 4 no infravermelho do satélite GOES-12 e as datas de ocorrência de dias críticos nos fornecimento de energia elétrica fornecidas pela empresa AMPLA do Estado do Rio de Janeiro. As análises subjetivas mostraram que os Sistemas Frontais são responsáveis por mais de 36 % dos casos na interrupção no fornecimento de energia elétrica. Os estudos realizados com as saídas do programa Fortracc mostram que as atividades convectivas são os principais responsáveis pelos desligamentos da rede elétrica na região do Rio de Janeiro, onde 62,9 % dos sistemas detectados pelo FORTRACC ocorreram em dias com problema no fornecimento de energia elétrica no Estado do Rio de Janeiro. ABSTRACT: This work examines the behavior of the synoptic and sub-synoptic patterns occurred over state of Rio de Janeiro during the January/2006 to march/2007, and the relationship with the energy supply interruption from AMPLA Company. This study used the information from FORTRACC model, GOES-12 Satellite Imagery (Infrared Channel 4), and the dates of the critical day for the energy supply (interruptions) from AMPLA Company in State of Rio de Janeiro. The subjective analysis showed that 36% of the observed cases of light interruption were caused cold front systems. The analyses from FORTRACC model showed that the convectives activities are the mains responsible for energy interruption in Rio de Janeiro regions, where 62,9 % of the systems detected by the FORTRACC had occurred in days with problem in the energy supply in the State of Rio de Janeiro.. |
