| Abstract | Neste trabalho foram avaliados elementos climáticos, como precipitação e evapotranspiração relativa no município de Iraí RS em cinco anos de safras muito altas e cinco anos de safras muito baixas, durante o período de 1976/1977 a 2004/2005. Os resultados mostraram que a evapotranspiração relativa foi sensível a variabilidade das chuvas, principalmente nos meses de janeiro e fevereiro, pois quando as produtividades foram muito altas a evapotranspiração relativa manteve-se igual ou próxima de 1 e a precipitação permaneceu nas categorias de normal (3) a muito chuvoso (5) na maioria dos meses. Já as baixas produtividades ocorreram quando a evapotranspiração relativa foi menor e as chuvas ocorreram dentro dos quantis 1 (muito seco) e 2 (seco). Através da análise da influência do comportamento das anomalias de Temperatura da Superfície do Mar (TSM) sobre a precipitação e produtividade da soja, constatou-se que a variabilidade interanual El Niño Oscilação Sul (ENOS) pode trazer benefícios ou prejuízos para a produtividade da soja, porém existem outros possíveis mecanismos produtores de chuva que podem exercer maiores influências na definição da produtividade. ABSTRACT: This work aims at analyzing climatic elements, such as rainfall and relative evapotranspiration, in the Iraí county (state of Rio Grande do Sul), Brazil. Five very high and very low soybean yields for the period of 1976/1977 to 2004/2005 were studied. The results suggest that relative evapotranspiration was sensible to the variability of the rains, mainly in the months of January and February, whereas when the productivity was very high , relative evapotranspiration becomes equal or near to 1 and the rainfall remained in the categories of normal (3) to very rainy (5) in the majority of the months. The low productivity occurred when relative evapotranspiration was low and the rains occurred within the quantis 1 (very dry) and 2 (dry). Through the evaluation of the influence of the behavior of the Sea Surface Temperature anomalies (SST) in the rainfall and soybean yield, it was verified that the interannual variability El Niño Southern Oscillation (ENSO) can bring benefits or damages for the soybean productivity, but other rain producing mechanis also can exercise bigger influences in the productivity.. |
