| Abstract | Com a utilização das Reanálises II do NCEP/NCARo padrão sinótico de campos compostos dos eventos de precipitação intensa/extrema que ocorreram sobre a Região Sudeste durante o período de 1979 à 2005 é investigado. A ocorrência dos eventos esteve associada à forte atividade convectiva, ao contraste de temperatura continente-oceano, umidade oriunda da Região Amazônica e Oceano Atlântico, fortes movimentos ascendentes, cujos elementos são favoráveis a formação e intensificação de tempestades severas. ABSTRACT: With the use of Reanalysis II of the NCEP/NCAR the synoptic pattern of composite fields of precipitation events heavy/extreme that ocurred on the Southeast Region during the period 1979-2005 is investigated. The occurrence of events was associated with strong convective activity, contrast to the continent-ocean temperature, humidity come from the Amazon Region and Atlantic region and Atlantic Ocean, strong upward movement, whose elements are support to genesis and intensification of severe storms. |
